We are a family owned and operated business by Troy, Amy, Duane and Judy Stuart located in central Nebraska. The home grown slip form feed bunk system was created in 1987 by Duane and his partner Dean. The bunk system was used for Christensen Cattle Company at their Sandy Ridge location. Once the process had been perfected the operation started its business for customers thru out the Midwest.

The process demands close attention to detail and is a long lasting product. The bunks are formed as long as the day temps stay at 40 degrees or above and the night temps do not dip below 32 degrees.

They are a continuous slip form bunk with a 51” x 2” dipped post inserted every 10’ to hold the ½” prestressed cable. Along with the bunk a continuous slab 6” thick can be poured in 12’ & 15’ increments with an 18” footing from the top of the pad. 12’ driveways are also available through our system.

As of the end of 2011, Double D Bunks Inc has poured 678,142' (128.5 miles) of bunks and 544,085'
(103 miles) of various sized slabs. Making a total of 1,222,227' of cement poured since the operations began.
